Craps is a game played with dice; it can be played with other players or a bank. It can be a lot to learn all at once, and can be overwhelming. The table has so many different numbers, and is very complex. People wager money on what the dice will roll. There are single roll bets, where the outcome is determined after one roll. There are also multi-roll bets, where the outcome is determined after more than one roll.
If you bet on 2, 3, or 12, you win if the shooter rolls a 2, 3, or 12. If the shooter calls a yo, they win if an eleven is rolled. You can play craps on the streets, but than there is not a bank to cover the outcome.
One of the most important bets to know about in craps is the pass line. If you want to bet pass line, you put your chips in front of you and place them in the place marked “pass.” If you roll a seven or eleven, you win, but if you roll a two, three, or twelve, you lose. The opposite of this bet is known as the don’t pass bet.
A come bet is almost the same as a pass line bet also. There is only one difference. A come bet is made on every throw of the dice. There are also don’t come bets. After you bet a don’t come bet, the next throw of the dice becomes the come out roll for the wager.
