Most Popular Poker Games

When going to a casino today, without a doubt, the most popular section would probably have to be the slot machines and the poker tables. Some of the most popular poker games are Texas Hold’em, Omaha High, and Seven Card Stud. These three games have the same structure, but each have their own uniqueness.

Texan Hold’em is a game of strategy and deception. This is probably the most popular poker game yet. To start, each player will be dealt two cards. Afterwards, there will be five “community” cards dealt in the middle of the table. These cards can be used by all the players. Players have to make the best combination by using the cards dealt. The combinations can be with their cards and the center cards, or with the center cards alone.

Omaha High has the same basic structure of Texas Hold’em. The only difference is that you will be dealt four cards. The community cards are still five. You have to make a combination with two of your cards and three of the community cards. Whoever has the highest combination possible will win the round. Seven Card Stud is played with seven cards. Each player will be dealt three face down cards and four face up cards. Each player will have to make a combination the same way as the other two games using your own cards. These are three of the most popular casino poker games today, but you can find many others available for play in every casino.
